DEC Membership Event | Black Cemeteries Roundtable

This roundtable event will feature cemetery stewards that work in the preservation, advocacy, and repair of historic Black cemeteries. From historic designation to community clean ups, the speakers will engage in meaningful conversation around methods and best practices and take questions from the audience. This session will feature experts like historian Lisa Henderson of the Lane St. Project, Jennifer Johnson, advocate and owner of saveditinc.org - an organization that helps Black families preserve their heritage and houses, and more.
